Women In Cooperation

Herstory in Black launches with Women's History Month.  Media veteran, co-opreneur, and ICM Founder, Ahzjah Simons joins forces with internationally renowned author and Professor of Africana studies at John Jay College at CUNY in NY City, NY to begin a celebration of black women in the cooperative movement who have built resilience, inspired us, and despite the forces of racism present during their lives, made historical contributions while others continue to pioneer and make cooperative history today.

This podcast highlights what ICM Founder dubs Diverse Unity: coming together through a common point of unity that drives each decision, reflection, thought, word, and action.  Coming together across all co-op sectors, co-op types, and other differentiators to illuminate opportunities and solve challenges we face within and throughout our co-op ecosystem and movement, together.  Now taping 2024 seasons. 

WINC wanted to create an opportunity for women to celebrate other women in the cooperative movement or those collaborating across sectors and industries for positive social good.
